Security and Information Management Affairs Unit

The Security and Information Management Affairs Unit drives the execution of global best practice technology, information management and security initiatives to support the Executive Affairs Authority’s core mission, in line with the priorities of the EAA’s Chairman.

In addition, the team extends its drive for innovation and thought leadership in the technological and security domains to support its subsidiaries, as well as advise UAE government entities on special assignments and projects.

The Unit’s key roles and responsibilities include:

• Developing and operating the EAA’s internal technology, information management and security initiatives and special projects, in alignment with the vision and priorities of the EAA and its business units.
• Providing strategic advice and guidance on security and technology initiatives in coordination with relevant government bodies to support the decision-making and vision of the Government.
• Providing guidance to the EAA’s subsidiaries on technology, information management and security related initiatives and programs.
• Ensuring compliance of the EAA and its subsidiaries with EAA’s technology, information management and security policies and guidelines, in addition to relevant UAE government laws and regulations.
